Competitive Systems and Practices Training Program

The training program has been developed to assist Australian manufacturers in taking on the competitive challenges of the global marketplace. The program incorporates the best international manufacturing practice into vocational education and training. It covers manufacturing excellence skills including mentoring and coaching staff in applying lean manufacturing best practice tools including:

  • Quick Change-Over
  • Just-In-Time
  • Sustainable process improvements

Corporate Partners are skilled and experienced consultants in Visual Workplace Management (VWM) and Lean Manufacturing. They have taken these tools and mapped them to the subject units and skill requirements of the Competitive Systems and Practices training. This allows clients to implement Lean processes in their businesses and to offer staff nationally recognised accreditation.

The competency-based Competitive Systems and Practices training is focused on business outcomes as well as individual skills attainment. Training is tailored to the needs of the business with enhanced skills complementing the key objectives of the business.

Corporate Partners takes a whole-of-business approach to delivering Competitive Systems and Practices training and encourages businesses to train all staff and not just those seeking accreditation. This approach has proven to be the best approach for delivering sustainable business improvements.

Corporate Partners uses Mini Business Teams (MBTs) to engage staff in the continuous improvement process and outcomes are measured and displayed for each MBT. This visual approach identifies and recognises team and individuals achievements in business improvement.
