Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME)
The AME (Australia) is a member organisation set up to improve members’ knowledge of excellence, to share experiences, and provide networking opportunities. The AME puts on several regional, national and international events each year. The AME is practitioner-based and all AME events focus on hands-on learning.
Manufacturing Skills Australia (MSA)
MSA is the national body responsible for ensuring that manufacturing businesses have the workforce skills they need to be globally competitive. MSA works with businesses, employer and industry associations, trade unions and industry advisory bodies to identify the skills required and how they can be effectively implemented.
QMI Solutions is a Queensland based organisation, with a strong background in manufacturing, dedicated to improving the growth, skills, performance, innovation and capability of Australian businesses. QMI Solutions offers a wide range of workshops and seminars.
Insights to Excellence (i2e)
i2e was established as a not-for-profit in 2006 to foster and promote an awareness of manufacturing excellence and better practice within the Victorian business community. The organisation provides Insight events structured around a site tour combined with facilitation, presentation and a Q&A session.
The Lean Network is a practitioner-run not-for-profit organisation aimed at disseminating the body of knowledge known as Lean Thinking. The Lean Network runs guided tours and knowledge sharing meetings. The network is aimed at seasoned professionals and newcomers to Lean.
Manufacturers Monthly provides the latest technical information about equipment, techniques, methods and services to the manufacturing industry, new product, jobs, events and more.
Lean Enterprise Institute
The Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) is a non-profit education, publishing, research, and conference organisation. The LEI develops hypotheses about lean thinking and sees which approaches work best in the real world. The LEI then writes up and teaches what it discovers.
Australian Industry Group (Ai Group)
The Ai Group is a peak industry association representing businesses in a range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, construction, automotive, food, transport, IT and other industries. The Ai Group is focused on building competitive and sustainable industries. It provides practical information, advice and assistance to help members run their businesses more effectively.
